Insulating Varnish

Diamond is Air drying varnish based an alkyd resins. It is economical, golden air drying, good bond with excellent electrical properties.

Application

• Can be applied by spraying and brushing method. Tank Should be tightly closed to avoid
• Evaporation of thinner and Solvent’s suitable thinner is T-82, for dilution.

Dr. Brake insulating varnish is alkyd and phenolic resin combination fast drying insulating varnish for protecting electric machines and appliances from moisture and chemicals.This is a thermal CLASS B insulating varnish.

Dr. Brake varnish can be used for impregnation/finishing of Electrical motors, Transformers, Alternators etc., Can be applied by dipping, brushing or spraying method.

Dr. Brake insulating varnish is preferably use for protecting the following machines and components.

• And in repair and rewinding of electric machines and components.

PROPERTIES OF CURE MATERIAL

The cured varnish gives very hard and shining film on electric component and gives very good resistance to moisture and chemicals. It has good track resistance.

TOUCH DRY- 45 MINUTES

Hard dry

• AT Room temp. 3 – 4 HOURS
• AT 120°C -130°C 1 HOURS

EDISON-1AR CLEAR IS AN AIR DRYING FINISHING VARNISH.

EDISON-1AR is phenolic resin insulating varnish. After evaporation of the solvent by means of a circulating air in oven the resin reacts under application of heat to give a tough and hard material.

Available in – 200ML,500ML,1LITRE,5 LITRE,20Ltrs, 200 litres tin container.

IN GOLDEN VARNISH A YELLOWISH GOLDEN FILM WILL APPREAR WITH SAME INSULATION AND HARDNESS.

EDISON-1AR CLEAR CAN BE PROCESSED BY DIPPING METHOD OR BY BRUSHING METHOD.
IN DIPPING AND BAKE METHOD – Dip-and-bake system is probably one of the most common conventional methods of applying varnish. In this process, the complete stator and coil assembly is sub merged in a tank of varnish, either under normal atmosphere or under vacuum or pressure. Either preheated or at ambient temperature depending on the type of varnish being used.
